"Yield" won first place in the Tennessee Mountain Writers' poetry contest in April 2024.
"After a Long Indiana Winter, 1964" was a finalist (one of the top 10 poems out of 2,500 submissions) for The Lascaux Review's poetry prize.
"Deep in Milkweed" is in final contention for the Charles Simic Poetry Prize; I'll hear about the winning poem by Nov. 1st.
